So, I was filling up our CK3510se for the second time ever over the weekend (from a 5gal can) and managed to knock the strainer into the tank. I don't think there's any way I'm going to be able to get it out. Does anyone think it'll cause a problem floating around in there?

I would see if you can fish it up to the opening with a piece of wire. Then use a needle nose to crush it to fit through the tank opening. Then replace it with a new one.

My ck2610 didnt come with one,maybe the dealer already pushed mine in for me!

When I fill from cans I use a big funnel with a fine mesh strainer in the bottom. I think the factory one is only going to catch things like june bugs or your keys if you drop them in. I think the only thing the factory strainer might do floating around in the tank is possibly interfere with the fuel gauge float, but that would be pretty hard. I would not worry too much about it.

Yeah, I can see myself dropping in the Forceps Mikester is recommending.... ;D

Actuallly, the foreceps are a good idea. I'll have to look for a pair at Harbor Freight.
