2010D Yanmar
Greetings everyone. I initially posted this in the parts/repair forum but I think I may have better luck here. I have a 2010D Yanmar that is hard to start. I removed the thermostart heater and checked it with jumper leads and the coil heats up fine. I noticed there was no fuel in the line to it and the little plastic bottle in the return line is also empty. I disconnected the fuel return line from the injectors and with the engine running there is no fuel coming out the return no matter the rpm. Is this normal? If not, where would be a good place to begin checking? Thanks.

Very little leaks by those injectors. May have to figure out a way to manually fill your bottle. Probably last a long long time.

Hoye says when installing a new TS:
THE NEW GLOW PLUG WILL NEED TO BE CYCLED 10-20 TIMES TO BLEED THE AIR OUT OF THE FUEL LINE BEFORE IT WILL START BURNING THE DIESEL. CYCLE IT ON 10 SECONDS THEN WAIT 20 SECONDS, ON 10 SECONDS, OFF 30.... 10 TO 20 TIMES.

Anyone know if this is true when you have removed one and cleaned it up? I would assume so.
