NEW HOLLAND 2002 TC-30 SERIAL 3012547 SHIBAURA FAMILY 1H3XL2 1.496 3 CYLINDER MECHANICAL PUMP
Praying i haven't blown the pump... fuel to pump... nothing in lines to injectors.
question 1 - the solenoid seems to be extended in non powered state... retracts on power, there is no physical resistance to push shaft of solenoid in to powered state. is this correct?
question 2 - when i removed the solenoid the "uh" fuel cut off shaft was extended. i pushed it gently in with my hand and a round punch. it remained there. shouldn't this have a "spring"
to hold against what i am "assuming" is a dead solenoid? I would think the solenoid would have resistance if power causes it to retract.
i can find exploded views of the pump itself and the solenoid... but no view of that "fuel cutoff pin" or if there is a spring.
? somewhere? can't remember where i saw a view or discussion of that rod.....
am i gonna get lucky or am i headed to a new pump?
THANKS IN ADVANCE
