Hi,
I posted this as part of my recent thread on radiator issues - but thought worth putting it under a separate heading to try and get an answer.
I've replaced the head gasket but having an issue with a fuel injector. It didn't seat properly and I discovered when I pulled it out again and felt down in the hole that I'd missed a copper washer. Seems there were two on the injector body but I had only removed one. When I re fitted it, I obviously bent the washer that had remained in, making the injector not seat properly.
So when I started it up I had exhaust gases escaping out around the injector and a very noisy motor! Both washers damaged so getting some new ones this week.
Surprised there were two washers. Anyone know if this is correct? Should there be one or two? The parts diagram only shows one, which it calls an adjusting washer. Just lists one under Quantity as well. Part number TS4100.19.120
Thanks
Mark
