Just changed the fuel filter on my Kioti CK 25. Gasket is good. When I start the tractor there is a slow drip at the bottom of the clear filter housing. I noticed this after tractor seemed to be sucking deisel. If I turn off tractor but do not turn off petcock to off drip continues but very slow.
As I mentioned the gasket is good and clear plastic housing is NOT cracked.
Im thinking I just need to tighten the filter a bit more. I tightened the metal threaded ring and have about 3 threads still showing on the bracket that holds the filter.
Im afraid to wrench too hard as I am heavy handed and have already stripped a couple of bolts around the farm.
Filter is hand tight. Should I use a slip joint pliers and tighten till all threads are covered by ring??
Edit: Just read another thread. Looks like the bowls are prone to cracking. Im assuming if its the bowl I would see the crack, no??
