I'm confused by that. Do you mean most optical zoom available on one of their cameras? I have an old Sony Mavica with 14X optical zoom so I know 8X isn't the most optical zoom available.

I really like the camera… but I just don’t know how to use it to its full potential… maybe utilizing only 20% of its potential…? (lots of buttons and switches and choices...) /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I’ve got a number of projects going on right now… as soon as I get caught up, I’ll be posting a bunch of questions… but my time is basically limited now ( I may find some time to even read the manual from cover to cover… that would help some…/w3tcompact/icons/eyes.gif /w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif)…

My mind absolutely reels at the number of things in my life to which that statement applies. My camera, my computers, my Palm Pilot, all of my software, most of my equipment and tools... Gary, yes I meant optical zoom. You're correct, some of the Mavicas have 10x and 14x optical zoom.
