I drive past this bridge a lot. Once in a while you can get a really nice picture of this bridge in its different seasons. This morning (Saturday) it was a cool 0 dergrees, the frost was just right on the trees, and the sun perfect in the sky. The result a pretty nice picture. Enjoy!!!!!!

That is beautiful, I assume you are in New England?

That's one thing that I don't see in NY very often if at all. Covered bridges. What a sight with the morning light and frost.

That would make a good postcard.
Did you notice the same thing this morning, for the heavy fog in the valley and the sun and blue sky above at 7am. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

MDNY, I'm not sure what part of upstate NY you're in, but eastern New York is very similar to New England, and we have many covered bridges. Here's one by my house that I go over almost every day. And yes, this is New York!!/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif My beloved rural upstate New York!!/w3tcompact/icons/love.gif

Rowski,
That looks like the bridge between Lunenburg, VT and Lancaster, NH. Is it? Nice Picture.

I live in Central NY - Syracuse area. I just haven't seen a covered bridges, but then again I don't usually get too far out from home. I go to Albany mostly to a B&B and when we go over this summer we will be real close to VT so we will cruise up and do some shopping there as well. Maybe we will see some covered bridges in our travels.

We've got four of them in Washington County. I'm fortunate enough to have 2 of them right near my house. If you like, I can tell you were to find them, they might be near where you're going.
