Frontier CA 1048 Core Aerator with a 2305

Has anyone had experience pulling the Frontier CA1048 Core Aerator with a JD 2305? I would really like to get the CA1048 and have one spotted for around $1500. I realize that my 2305 is a Limited Cat 1, however, my lawn is fairly flat so I am hoping the 3ph would clear on turns, etc. I may consider hooking up direct to the 3ph versus using the I-match as I believe I would get it raised a little higher.

I have a Frontier CA1048 core aerator that I use with a JD 2320. My lawn is relatively flat but I do have a few minor slopes. The JD 2320 can lift the aerator off the ground by about 3 inches. It does bottom out on some of the slopes. I'm not sure how high you would be able to lift this aerator with the 2305. One other thing to think about is your 3 point lift weight capacity. The CA1048 weighs in at about 300 pounds. Depending on your soil type - mine is clay - I needed to add an additional 420 pounds to get it to work efficiently. I use the aerator with the loader on to act as a counter weight.
