Frontier Attachments? made by deere or for them?

Well i have many Questions. Frontier Landscape Catalog brochure pictures

1. Does anyone have a MSRP price list for thier landscape equipment?
2. It appears high quality, anyone else own it?
3. Why does JD sell a 65" tiller and also a 65" frontier tiller that LOOKS exactly the same as the JD almost?

I am looking at box blades, rotor tillers, post hole diggers etc, they have so many models, sizes etc. Some are standard duty others medium or heavy duty, i want to know all the price differences because ill spend a little more to go better if i know the prices up front, id feel bad asking a dealer 60 different prices.

I need at least the PH300 model or higher since i need to use 18 or 24" augers. What makes these better than others and how much does one smaller model cost than the best version?


Tillers

The brochure states its 68.4" width for the 3120/3320/3520/3720 models, How is a 65" rear Frontier box blade easily wider than than a 3520 machine in person? same for a 65" tiller?

I want to order stuff wide enough for the machine without going crazy into 70+" wide tillers and such.
73" tillers

Me thinks that the dealer is where you will have to go to get the prices. I'd be surprised if they are posted somewhere that you can get them, but one never knows with the net these days.
60 prices? Wow, you have a big mission. Why so many?

lol, i was referencing 60 just because i want price differences on say 6 rotor tillers and 4 post hole diggers etc lol, only looking for a few attachments though.

I can comment on the relationship between Deere and Frontier. A JD dealer told me last week that Deere decided to "outsource" some of their attachments to other companies since Deere determined it was more "cost-effective". I would venture to say that Deere has a great deal of influence and some control on the materials and construction. I don't know if Frontier is a company or a brand-name.

You are correct-Deere is outsourcing various items and branding them as Frontier-

My Frontier tiller, model 1160, is made by Maschio in Italy. It was recommended by my JD dealer for my 4410, he had no JD tillers in stock and could not give me a date when he would. The Frontier has been very satisfactory.

I bought a Frontier box blade thru my JD dealer last year. The thing is built like a tank and I'm very happy with it. However, it took 5 months(!) to get - he had to buy it thru a different distribution network than his JD parts, sounded like a totally seperate operation and it frustrated the heck out of him (and me!). At one point he said he wouldn't blame me for going to TSC. When it finally arrived it was almost $200 more than initially quoted - he showed me his invoice so I split the difference with him but he lost $$ on the sale. This year he has a several Befco attachments on the lot, including box blades.
