I tried a search to see if this topic has been covered but came up empty.
I have a 2018 CK 4010 SE with a KL 4030 FEL - remotes plumbed to front.
Looking at a snow plow with hydraulic angle.
Dealer is saying my tractor is not designed for heavy 'side-loading' and strongly suggested an Arctic snowplow made of composite materials - weighs about 450lbs.
A couple questions - is anyone running this set up and if so can you share your thoughts experiences using it ? I live in eastern Ontario so we don't get big snowfalls regularly, but I do have a 1km gravel road to maintain in the winter.
Second, is the dealer just giving me a sales pitch re no heavy side loading ? He's quoting me...4500 for the Arctic plow set-up !!
Any insights or thoughts greatly appreciated.
