'99 kubota L3010 w/La481 fel
Hi, I am new to this site and this is my first post. I am researching the better skid steer attachment for a Kubota LA481 fel (mounted on a '99 Kubota L3010). I have been researching the ATI attachment, which from what i can find seems to have a better fit and finish than some of the other makes out there. Also seems to be more versatile in the attachment dept. in the future. Right now i am looking just to purchase the pallet forks and possibly a new bucket.I recently posted at another discussion site and recieved some great responses. I just thought i would toss this question out there on this site to see what else people had to say. Any responses would be appreciated. Thank you very much!

Here is a company that sells a QA for the FEL. They also have the mounting plates to weld to your existing bucket.

Skid Steer Q/A Adapters

I bought an adapter for my kubota 5400 from this company, they were easy to deal with and it fit and installed with no drama.

I also bought an adapter plate for my bucket which I have not used yet but appears to be well made.

I have the ATI Tach-All QA mounted on a M6800 Kubota, mainly used to connect a Markham grapple and a bucket. The connection is very quick and easy, taking less than a minute to switch. The only problem I had was distorting the round tube that the locking pin slides in resulting in having to hammer the pin out and then reaming or filing the interior of the tube, to allow the pin to slide freely. I guess the torque on the bucket caused to sleeve to distort. This is the weak link in the design, but this has only happened once, but I expect it to happen again. In my opinion the sleeve should be more stout, but a welder could replace this sleeve very easily. I called ATI and they responded that they had not had this happen before. Unfortunately, short of reaming the sleeve when it bends, or welding on a new sleeve, there is not a quick fix. But this is not a big deal, for all in all the QA works well. Worse case scenario would be a 30 minute visit to a welder if this keeps reoccuring.
