Also worth noting - the 400X has a much better roll-back angle than the 400CX (not the case on the 300C/CX). I have a 4120 with the 400X and it is all I'll ever need. Many prefer the 400X for the improved roll-back and a savings of ~$700. I went through the same decision - comparing the specs, etc. and the 400X was the right choice for me - may not be right for the next guy. Just my $0.02.

The decreased roll-back angle is because the 400CX is a mechanical SL (self-leveling) loader. If I was in the market for one, I would choose the 400CX also...

I believe the 400cx loader also has additional brasing for extra strength/support and the 400x doesn't.....

well i went and looked at the 4120 with 1100 hrs, big piece of crap,I have'nt seen no 4120 new with a loader for 25k i seen one for 31k new.

I thought I posted this before on here somewhere.

When looking at the capacities for the 400 X and CX I think the numbers are incorrect, no way should the capacity be higher beyond the pivot pins than at the pivot pins.



Technical writers are and have been overworked for some time and like most of us they make mistakes.
