None at this time.
I picked up a guard for my 7520 4x4 with loader today but it does not seem right. It seems narrow but I guess I could spread it a 1/4" to get by the frame but the loader frame sticks out another ~1/2" on each side? I need to call the dealer in the morning I guess.

To digress a bit, I bought a used Mahindra 7520 after moving a couple of weeks ago. I liked the tractor but hated the pin type quick disconnect on the loader.

Wanting to buy a grapple to clean up alot of dead trees and tree tops from the property being logged, I soon ran into a problem with the disconnect.

So, to make a long story short, I swapped the tractor back in for the same price I paid for it on the new one.

Anyway, anyone have any insite on the grill guard?

My 6520 4WD uses the same grill guard. The loader has a spacer between the frame and the loader forward mount that must be removed and the grill guard sandwiched in between the loader mount and the frame. Extend the curl on the bucket all the way and sit it on the ground. Then take out the forward mounting bolts and loosen the aft mount bolts. Get a pry bar and pry the forward mount out while sliding the grill guard in place. It is a good tight fit, but it makes it difficult to install the guard. But it can be done. Last time I used wood wedges on each side.;)

Seems that the loader subframe has been changed. I stopped by the dealer this morning to resolve this.

The used 7520 I traded back in plus another on the lot did have the spacer between the cast frame and the loader frame but the new ones have been changed.

The loader frame is all one piece about a 1/2" thick.

My options with the guard would be to plasma cut the rear part off and only use the two front mounting holes as the dealer suggested. Or, I could cut it and weld the rear part back on with the offset in.

I opted for plan B for now. The dealer is going to call his distributer on Monday. Perhaps the distributer has not yet come acrossed this change.

I am a bit disappointed with my dealers suggestion to have to modify a 185 dollar item to make it work. Especially since although I can weld, I don't have a plasma cutter to make the clean cut and if I welded the back section back on, I would want to use longer bolts.

QRTRHRS,
I understand now. You can also choose plan C..............send it back and ask for one that fits without cutting and/or welding.

Thanks Brandi,

I will be calling the dealer in the am to see what is what. I don't mind that the guard does not fit and that the dealer has not come up against this before.

It was their initial response to just cut the rear bolt area off and go with it that bugged me. This was on this past Saturday and they were pretty busy. Perhaps I caught them at a bad time because up until now, this dealer has been really nice to deal with.

I can see you cutting off two bolt holes and something big and heavy hitting the guard, shearing off one of the two bolts (per side) and pivoting that guard right into your grill and radiator. It ain't worth it.
Do it right, it's your radiator after all.;)

$$$ to donuts says the dealer knows the answer. I think you have the Tier 3 tractor with the ML276 loader not the ML275. It does indeed take a different grill guard and you have the wrong one. I got a call about this on Friday. They should be able to get you the right one and have you squared away, no problem.

Jeremy,
I am sure this will be a big help for him.:) Does the ML276 have the same specs as the ML275?

I just looked at the paperwork and lo and behold, the papers state that it is a ML276 loader. Thanks for the info.

I blew off calling the dealer today, looks like a better get on it in the morning.

We had the same issue recently and like jeremy stated it was the difference b/t the 275 and 276 loaders.
