Front blade for CK20 HST

I'm going to buy a blade this Fall mainly for plowing snow this winter, but not exclusively.

Which is a better choice, frame mount or FEL type?

Check w/ Mich. Iron and Equip.. They make a nice front blade.

Staying with a frame mounted blade may cost a bit more, but is better, stronger, while plowing I struck a frozen tree root last winter. It spun the tractor around, back end cleared the ground. I suspected if I had a loader mounted blade it would have bent the lifting arms or worse!

Michigan Iron & Equipment: Kioti Dealer makes both a frame mount and fel mount with trip springs just in case you hit something. A frame mount stays closer to the front of the tractor instead of all the way out on the end of the fel arms. If you have a QA on the fel arms, you can swith between the bucket and blade for what you need to do. With frame mount, the fel comes off. Check their site. They should have pictures of both and they will ship via truck freight.
