Front axle (4WD) leaking.....help

I spoke with my dealer and he talked to the manufacturer, and he said that LS has come out with a new design improvement on the axle seals. Apparently LS has reconized there is a problem. Hope this helps...

Thanks for the feedback. I decided to let the dealer do the seals since it still has about 5 months of warranty left. My plan was to watch the dealer mechanic do the disassemble for my own education for future use. I told the dealer this and he said it would be Monday before he got to it (this past Monday). I called him Monday and he said he was sorry but his mechanic came in on Saturday and did the breakdown. ......so much for my education and future reference. Hopefully the manufacturer sends the new seals out on all new orders. I'll guess I'll just have to figure the whole thing out for myself in the future.
