I have considered getting a drone, but I'm sure I would get into trouble with it. I envision deep regrets when it falls onto one of my neighbors heads, or through the front window.
Does your drone ever upset your neighbors? Are there any laws regarding same where you live? License or restrictions?
Is that the Ocean? Or is one of those many lakes you told me about.
It's a lot of water. Where are the fishing videos? Must be a lot of fish around there.

This is actually are not drone, it is rc aeroplane, I have planned to buy drone in future.
You worry about hit You drone something/somebody is justifiable because it can happens, I have hit by My rc plane so many things that I not can count...
When You practice controls Your plane/drone it is expected and even sometimes now when I have years experience it still happens... it is part of this hobby.
Gladly I live countryside so I have plenty of space practice and fly My planes, if You look My video You see that here not are many neighborhoods.. closer lives almost 1 kilometers away..
My neighborhoods have hear My planes voice in a sky but they have not yet call a police... maybe they not bother it then.. :laughing:
If You live suburb I think it is not very good place to start.. try find place where is lots of space and if possible try find some experienced people that can teach You, I learn this hobby all by My self and I think that it is very hard way..
This hobby in here Finland is quite free for any laws if You not fly near a airfields or make it pro. I have not do any of those so I am free to fly.
yes it is one of the lakes what I am talking about, nearest ocean is 600 kilometers away.
yes lots of water, I am not interested on fishing, My dad is but not Me.
By the way, this is one of My hardest crash, rc plane get tailspin and crash in forest, on board cam records hole thing...

Sounded like the audio changed right when things went awry. So I'm guessing the camera shifted or something came loose and dislodged it. Seemed like the throttle was still open....
How long did it take you to find it?
I suppose the thing to do is get a compass bearing where it disappeared behind the trees and start walking.....
I have participated in this hobby but have little to no first hand experience. I watched friends spend hundreds only to smash into bits. My biggest problem was trying mot to laugh. I was handed the controls once but handed them back when the plane was flying toward me and everything was in reverse. Luckily I did not smashed my best friend plane....I declined any further offers to fly it.
I watched a friend get his very expensive, gas engine, helicopter stuck in another friends cedar tree once. Had to hire a crane to get it out. :shocked:
