Hague Man Crushed by Boulders
Hague, New York - April 21, 2009
New York State Police are releasing more information about a freak accident that claimed a man's life.
Police say the man-- whose identity still has not been released-- was using a leaf blower on the lawn of his home off Route 9N in Hague Monday. The man reportedly leaned across a tree, which fell over and the man fell off a 22-foot cliff. During the fall, the man knocked some boulders loose. They landed on top of him and crushed him.
Police believe the man had been crushed beneath the boulders for at least two hours before anyone found him.
