Backhoe Framtrac 4008 Bckhoe

Does any body have one, that can give me some general info on it. There is one for sale locally and has the correct subfram for my 300dtc.

What do you want to know, I have one on my 555dtc, but it is a 3pt hook up with brackets on top to beef up the top link. I can tell you it digs ok, lacks for power a bit, but we have not been unhappy with it.

Do you run it of remotes or a PTO pump? Do leave the sub frame on when not using the hoe. Are there any provisions to add a thumb?

We run ours off the remotes. Ours is 3 point hitch so no frame. Longer 3pt arms needed for 3pt mounting. IIRC the manual states the 3 PT linkage needs to be removed to install subframe and/or backhoe. No provisions that I see to add a thumb. Just to give an idea it was 7k new.
Anything else let me know. I think I have the manual somewhere.
