I just purchased a 2006 New Holland TL80A with 385 hours. There are three indicator lights that are not working on the control panel.
WARNING AND INDICATOR LIGHTS (Page 2-3 in the op-manual)
1. Work lights (amber) - This indicator light on the control panel is supposed to come on when the work lights are switched on (page 2-3 in the op-manual). The light does appear when the starter switch is initially turned to position B (page 3-2 in the op-manual), but does not appear when the lights are switched on when the tractor is actually running. Furthermore, the rear tractor work light is not working...might be related?
3. Differential lock (amber) - This indicator light on the control panel is supposed to come on when the differential lock is engaged (page 2-3 in the op-manual). This light does appear when the starter switch is initially turned to position B (page 3-2 in the op-manual), but does not appear when the differential lock is switched on when the tractor is actually running.
4. Four-wheel drive indicator light (green) - This indicator light is supposed to come on when the front-wheel drive is engaged (page 2-4 in the op-manual). The light does appear when the starter switch is initially turned to position B (page 3-2 in the op-manual), but does not appear when the four-wheel drive is switched on when the tractor is actually running.
Any suggestions as to why the lights light up when the key is turned on before cranking the motor, but don't light up when the tractor is actually running would be greatly appreciated.
