Hey all, I know some of you were looking for some cross ref numbers for filters, and Will this might be some help to you if you want Baldwin filters;

engine oil filter Massey # 72201898 cross ref Baldwin B7356

Hydrostatic trany filter Massey # 3609567M1 cross ref Baldwin BT230

fuel filter Massy # 3608255M1 cross ref Baldwin PF937

Don't have a # for the air filter. My Massey dealer told me that I dont have to change my Hydrolic oil until 300 hrs, but my book says 150 hrs the first fluid change???? Quite a discrepency there!!! And the Baldwin dealer says I can use a hydrolic oil called TDH (transmission/differential/hydrolic) standard or a winter version which is a little lighter fluid and to change it between 3 and 500 hrs (unless I do really heavy work during summer). As for the engine oil they sugested a 0-40 weight by Mobil (but it is more expensive)

If your going to stay with mineral oil, I suggest you stay with the Permatran. Permatran is a very good product. It contains additives that will keep your brakes quiet, and you trans cool. You cannot save enough money to make it worth switching to an oil that will probably not be as good.

First change is @ 50 Hours, and every change after that is 150 Hours. We just did the second change, and put in Petro Canada Duratran synthetic. Look forward to see how it goes this winter. I also paid to have the Cat SOS oil analysis done, so I have an idea of how the 150 hours went. Petro Canada will pay for any failures related to the oil.

Where did yo get the Baldwin numbers from??

Actually, on page 44 of my manual, (GC2310) they list the maintenance schedule as 50hrs. for the first change, and 200 hrs. as the normal interval. Some think that means the first is at 50, and the second is at 200, so the interval is 150. Which would be incorrect.

Then, if you read the schedule on page 44 in the same book, it says the first 50 hrs., and then every 300 hrs.

300 hrs is more than often enough. Especially, if you do not operate in dusty conditions all the time.

Also note, the 50 hr. intervals for transmissions, are being eliminated by many manufacturers.

Yes, that is correct. When we did the 50 HR on the 1635, the suction filter did not need to be cleaned, just change the spin on. We did the second service @ 225 Hours, did both. Suction filter looked good, but glad we did it anyway.

Will pull a sample in another 200 hours, and get it tested, along with the new oil.

I googled the GC2300 trans filter # . These came up for the Agco-Allis ST32 tractor via WIX fIlter cross page ref page. Not to sure if these are right ??

Fuel Filter 33262 ST32 Hydrostatic w / Iseki Engine 3608255M1
Oil Filter 51360 ST32 Hydrostatic w / Iseki Engine 72201898
Transmission Filter 5126853 ST32 Hydrostatic w / Iseki Engine 3609567M1

My original trans. filter for my GC2310 was 4265229M91 . Did the 3609567M1 replace that ??

NAPA list an air filter # 9691 for GC2300 tractors.

Okay, but the next question is: Is it any cheaper?

The last time I checked, they were about the same price on the oil filter, and they did not stock it at my NAPA. So, I decided to just let them rob me at the dealer, at least it was cash and carry.
