Last night I found a used LA211 FEL an hour away from where I live. It is complete with the valve, and can bolt right up to my tractor. I spoke to the owner over the phone and he said I would need to run some additional hydraulic lines from the pump, etc to make it work. The price seems fair with the operational valve, but only if the additional hardware wouldn't be too much extra. I bought my tractor new in 2005 without a loader, and it was not equipped with a loader valve. Does anyone have a ballpark idea of the additional costs needed for the hydraulic lines and whatever else would be needed for my tractor to make it work? Thanks.

If the loader is fairly priced, I would think the lines would be trivial and deem myself lucky to find an FEL that close being sold separate from the tractor. JMHO :)

Does the seller of the loader have a snowblower of front blade for his tractor? He would have no reason to leave the hard lines on the tractor
if he does not. They can all be removed in about an hour to take the tractor back to stock. I bought a LA211 last year & removed everything
from the seller's BX2230. He bought one gasket and one steel cover. It was a very easy job.

The seller only has the complete loader as removed from the tractor. I will need to purchase the lines and whatever else is needed to run hydraulics to the loader quick release connections from the tractor, so I'm hoping it won't be too costly to do that. Thanks again!

Check with Messick's and they can send you an exploded diagram with parts numbers and you should be able to go from there.

I replaced all 3 lines from the rear end to under the engine due to corrosion. Price on that was somewhere around $90 two years ago with tax, maybe closer to $75.
You would need the all 3 lines from under the engine up to the valve and the block in the rear end to come out of the rear into those 3 lines. You should also order the little brackets to hold the lines steady.
I would think you'd still be south of $200 for the whole thing.

Thanks for all your replies! I can now proceed with this deal knowing all the incidental costs involved.
