Found A 3010 Trans Mule Diesel Winch Mount

Finally located a decent winch mounting plate that will fit my 2008 3010 Trans Mule Diesel. From all that I've gathered, the larger radiator on the Trans Mule Diesel wipes out any possibility of craming a decent sized winch into that ill designed front cavity. This 20 lb. plate is made out of approximately 1/4" steel and all of the angles are bent, not welded. I attached it last night and I will admit that although it went on peacefully with no extra drilling required, I have a few small cuts on one hand due to the tight working quarters. It was not necessary to remove the factory bumper for the attachment but I did have to go in through the two 3-3/4" side inspection holes to snug down two 7/16" bolts. This particular plate is pre-drilled for a variety of Warn and Ramsey winches, I will probably mount a Warn RT40. The manufacturer is at savantmfg.com and the part number is 298119-R99.

Dang, do you wax that Kawi and clean it with a toothbrush? Looks brand new!

I think you will be very pleased with the warn 4.0. I have had one on my ranger since new, use it to raise and lower a plow and have used it several times for moving trees and atv recovery with good results. -Keith

It does live in the shop and has around 37 hours on the meter.
