Hey dudes and dudetts, I always enjoy reading your forum but have noticed it has been a bit quiet lately.

Aybody doing anything interesting with their Toolcats?

Have their been any changes to the website?

I'm still waiting on the low priced model that is supposedly n development. Till then I enjoy reading your posts.

Winter time blues. All the forums seem pretty quiet. Toolcat is a small forum so it may seem quieter.

Of course those of us sitting in the great outdoors on our tractors have an excuse to stay inside. You guys are supposed to be in your heated cabs pretending it's Spring. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We ARE out there in our heated cabs, moving snow in northern locales and pretending it's spring everywhere else! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif: grin: Lately I've been in my Toolcat using attachments including root rake brush grapple, rotary brushcutter, forks, box blade, buckets, etc., rather than posting about each project in detail here.
A couple initial forum members have had health or family issues or other distractions but I hear they plan to post more about Toolcat uses as 2006 unfolds...

rox,
Lots of interesting things being done... keep tuned for more photos later in the week.
Bobcat did update both their website and Toolcat brochure a bit to reflect the new C series, and there's lots of info about their attachments on site if you seek it out, but they could do more of the things you suggested such as link attachment details with the photos of attachments on the Toolcat...

As far as the smaller Toolcat 4600, the last I heard from sources deemed to be reliable was that Bobcat aims to have them available for customer delivery by Sept or Oct 2006. Of course that could be moved up or back... It will be smaller and lighter in weight than the Toolcat 5600, but may or may not offer a huge drop in price! (But I hear they're also significantly upgrading their lower-priced Bobcat 2200 4X4 utility vehicle so it can do more work (more than Kubota RTV!). /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif)

rox, I hope you had a successful olive harvest and you get to upgrade your machinery this year!

What ever happened to Rolando???

He was looking hard and long for a CUT for two years and finally just got his new ToolCat this past Thanksgiving and hasn't posted a pic of it or mentioned anything about it????

Hope that he is okay.

SkyPup, I hope Rolando's ok, too. He posted pics as soon as his C-series unit arrived at the dealer! After getting his Toolcat and several attachments, he did clear out trees and brush along hundreds of feet of property line, make some initial reports here, put a trailer on order for moving between his properties, etc.

But he also was just starting a big new project in his business around Thanksgiving. And in the past he has posted fast and furious for several months and then took long breaks before resuming TBN posts...

An alternative explanation for Rolando's disappearance is that he did not opt for the wide area wifi option on his Toolcat so he cannot access this site while spending all his time in the climate controlled cab. Think outside the box. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

LOL /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif, he's probably out of the range of his notebook's wifi down on the back 40! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
