Fordson Transporting Truck

Hi All, I recently purchased a old International D1510 international truck to transport our Fordson Super Major with the flail mower on from one place to another from time to time, can anyone assist in locating a bench seat and a pair of cabin side steps for it , Regards John.

If you have the seat and it’s in bad shape and automotive upholstery shop can refoam the seat and reupholster it.

Hi Dave Thank You for the reply, I don't have the seat , the previous owner replaced it with 2 bucket seats and welded 2 angle iron steps on the cabin and scrapped all, I want to get the truck back to original, Regards John.

Off-topic, but the Fordson Super Major! I had one for a few years 20 years ago, and memories - some fond and some not so. Built like the proverbial brick outhouse, no computers, prone to springing a leak of something somewhere or other every other weekend when I came up to the farm to use it, and a PITA to refuel from 20 litre drums balanced precariously on a plastic milk crate to syphon fill.

But, all said and done, a wonderful old tractor!

Thank You for all that and you are right she is still working on the farm with no faults as I have kept it in original condition she has a 2 stage clutch and raised pto , and an original Napier ( Ford Blue line Dozer Blade), a Bareco rops, looks almost close to new and in the family since new 1963,

kafurter The International D1510 was an Australian International truck and was never exported to the US to my limited knowledge. Without knowing your location, it will be challenging to assist you. If your in AU your most likely going to be able to find a seat, if your in AR your going to have a heck of a time finding a seat. We would love pics.

Thank for your reply, I am in Au and have just purchased a complete truck for parts and it has all the parts I need, I am not too good at attaching photo's but will try asap Stay Safe Kind Regards John.
