Ford Series 902 Rotary Cutter - 100 Inch

I found someone who just bought a new batwing shredder to replace a Ford Series 902 rotary cutter. It is a drag type and cuts a 100 inch width. The gentleman said he would sale it to me for $300 and I am planning to look at it this weekend. Has anyone had any experience with this mower? I would appreciate any advice on what to look for. Are the belts, bearings, etc for this mower still available? Thanks

yes the belts are easily obtain I buy mine from my napa parts dealer the mower is good one just had mine completely rebuilt

Thanks for the reply sjcfarm. I got it home and ran it for a couple of hours. The belts and spindle bearings are in good shape. I need to replace a few bolts on the frame and do a little welding on the hitch. The blades are in bad shape so I will try to locate some replacements before next spring.
