Ford NAA Throttle Stop?

I'm looking for a picture of the Ford NAA throttle stop (that I believe bolts to the manifold and hangs down around the throttle control near the governor). I assume other 134 ci engines have the same stop, but I am not sure.

Mine is missing and I'd like to make one that looks like the original.

I have looked at that online catalog and image already. It does not show enough detail to determine where / how it is attached.

I have also checked the owners manual, the I&T Shop Manual, and the Dearborn Service Shop Manual. None of these resources show any detail in this area. The closest images are from page 11 and page 42 of the original owners manual. They do not, however, actually show the connection point of the stop.

i wuldn't expect the owhers or shop manual to have any detail pics. the parts manual usually does.. though I doubt much more than the online catalog has..

i guess I've just been around them toolong.. but that diagram fromthe catalog looks to make perfect sense to me. are you actually missing pieces.. or just trying to reassemble a basket case?

The stop is just missing. I can just throw something together, but I figured I'd be nice to see what the original design was.

Now that I've rebuilt the throttle linkage to work properly, it actually needs the stop to prevent over-revving.

if you have contribed the linkage.. it is doubtfull the oem stop would do much. I'd just rig up something that works either at the bencrank or near the gov.

you are using the gov right? and it is working properly?

The linkage is all correct, it had just been poorly repaired several times... so I rebuilt it with correct replacement parts (except the stop so far). I am using the governor and it works very well. It is a tractor on a family farm that needs the max throttle stop to help prevent damage when used by a variety of operators.

I'll just make a simple stop (the adjuster can be positioned along the whole length, so it will not be especially difficult).
