Hi All
I am Val from Australia. I own a Ford LGT 14d tractor mower and a 23HP Valpandana. I live on 5 acres and use both tractors regularly. Presently I have a problem with my Ford/New Holland LGT14D. I had to remove the motor to take off the sump to repair after my drive shaft to the cutting deck broke and damaged the sump. When I replaced the motor and then reconnected the wiring to the starter motor, I created a short that burnt out the regulator. I have a new regulator now, but still seem to have a short when I try to reconnect the battery. I am hoping someone on this forum could take a couple of photos of the starter motor, so I can confirm that my starter motor and engine earth are hooked up correctly.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
