Ford GT75 diesel mower

I am looking to buy a Ford GT75 diesel, 48" mower with 282 hours. It is in terrific shape, needs nothing but a battery and new blades. I wonder about the durability of this unit, cut quality, etc. What is this mower worth - again it is excellent condition.

I take that this is a lawn tractor set up or possibly a cutting deck in front type unit......

I believe that Shibura was making NH GT series at that time - I found a European Shibura site at that time that had the same units listed. My feeling is NH took a step backward by going to rebadged Toro units (that should stir up some trouble). I looked long and hard at them, but couldn't talk the CFO into spending $7500 for "lawn mower". Selling points for me were: Great torque curve, shaft drive implements, power steering, hydraulics, 2 range hydro. I also liked the dealer.

I had one for a while and liked it alot. The only problem I ever had was it seemed to go through the belt on the mower deck pretty quickly, but my grass is really tough.

If you can get it for a good price I think you will be happy with it.
