Recently acquired a ford 8n had 3 new sleeves and pistols installed. The 4th sleeve was broken half installed. I removed the old sleeve, installed new sleeve and I’m ready to install the pistons. When installing the connecting rods, does the rod journal oil hole face the piston or the cap?

What oil hole are you talking about on the rod journal?
The rod and cap should both be numbered and the numbers match up.

The oil hole is toward the camshaft. Be sure the pistons are installed correctly on the rods.
