FORD 8600 Alternator not charging

I bought a new alternator & voltage regulator but my 8600 is still not charging the battery. Any ideas out there such as wiring or schematics since the repair manual is skimpy?

Can't help you much with electrics but a cheap $40 10SI alternator would likely be an easy conversion and solve your charging problems.
Just google 12V wiring diagram or 10SI wiring diagram and you'll find several good schematics to wire one up.
