Ford 860 anti freeze

I am wondering if it is safe to use heavy duty diesel anti freeze in a ford 860 gas tractor. I have a jug of it so if it is good I would not need to buy another kind.

No reason you can’t use it. Extra additives for diesel won’t hurt your gas block.

The reason I asked is years ago when they started making anti freeze for cars with aluminum blocks it caused some problems in heavy diesel engines, so wondered if there was a chance that diesel anti freeze might not suit an old gas tractor.

Great question, but old gas Ford blocks are as stout as many modern diesels made of cast iron.

Pour it in and go, the old Ford will not care one bit.
