Ford 8430 sle problem

Hello folks,I am looking for some info how to manually reset(cycle the key i think its called) the error codes.I've done some work on the tranie,now all back together tractor wont move an inch and getting e19 error.

I see no listing for an 8430. Could it be an 8340?

Yeah i probably changed those two.As well e28 error comes out

Does your transmission have rods and linkage for the range shifting or is it cable operated? There are two versions of the 16x16. Does the elctronic lift work? My book shows E19 has do do with a circuit problem between the computer and the dump valve solenoid. If your tractor is a quad mod, the E28 could be as simple as a clutch cable adjustment. What all did you have apart for repairs?

It iswith rods.Lift dont work either.Is that valve shown on a picture where is situated?It was taken apart cuz it was not shifting 1/3/5/7 gear.There was a worn out "pump"i might say that the oil pushes thru so it can squeeze the friction discs...long story short everything that was damaged was changed and assembled properly but these electronics are killing me

I agree completely, the electronics on these tractors are a nightmare. I have the wiring diagrams and the transmission book, and still it can take hours and hours of testing and troubleshooting to locate problems sometimes. If the tractor has rod linkage it's an early model, so the clutch cable should not be a factor. My book shows a couple possibilties for E28, with the tractor not moving and lift not working - one is a problem in the closed center lift system, another is the low pressure system is too low. Should be 250 to 280 psi. Does it have closed center hydraulics? I haven't seen any closed center tractors in this area. I'm not sure how much help I can offer from this distance, other than what the error codes point to. Is your mechanic experienced on these transmissions? They're just not easy to diagnose, even for someone with experience.
