Ford 7108 Loader Hyd Connect Problem

I am trying to connect hydraulic lines (quick connect fittings) and can't physically push the two together. Any help on this please? Thanks

You might have to release the pressure on the implement or tractor, or both.

Have you tried tapping the balll inside the QD and releasing some fluid.

You could push the male QD ball against a hard surface.

ditto what J_J said. we wrap a rag around the face of the male then slap it down on a hard surface to make it equalize pressure.. should connect up then, if the connectors are the right type to mate up..

I have to do that sometimes... I noticed the QC for the curl function are leaking slightly. Are the QC replaceable or is replacing the o-ring an option?
