Hi all, the fuel valve drips gas on my Ford 641, a drop or so every few seconds whether open or closed. I've read posts here and on other forums that suggest I need to either replace the valve assembly or maybe just the o-ring.

My question is this: Can a newbie like me replace that valve? I'm thinking I need to remove the hood and maybe the tank, but I don't want to start taking things apart if it's a job for a pro.

Any comments, including specific steps to take or easier ways to fix the leak, are appreciated.
