is a shed kept running model worth around 3500? I thought the "high crop might make it worth more. Thanks.

A good running / condition hundred series can fetch in the 3??? range. Special options help support that price.

600 is the series.. post the actual model ID number. This will tell you about trans and hyds.. etc..

5 spd is worth more than the 4 spd... and the live pto 5 spd is worth the most.

Options like factory power steering are a big plus if they still work..

Is it a true Hi-crop, or a 700 or an offset 500. I can't say as I've ever seen a hi-crop 600, it may be a rare bird and coulf fetch a pretty penny, later, Nat

All I can say is he must like to type... most of the stuff he said in his add was redundant.

800 series, 5 spd, live pto, 172cu eng

all that can be said as: 860

8 means 172 gasser 6 means 5spd live pto.. 0 means 55-57 year range

As for hi clearance.. well.. lets see a pic... I supose it could have had custom work done on it. i have seen a special hi crop- 8n with spindle extensions and gear reductions all done aftermarket.. etc.. so.. anything is possible.

Chris, it sounds like a 961 to me that may have 861 decals. Thus the " Hi-clearance row crop. What do you think? later, Nat

It was from a farmer's bulletin - most folks in there are just salt-of-the-earth simple folk. No pretentious people there that I have met as of yet. And I imagine the details help most folks, since unlike me, most folks don't have access to THE Soundguy! I will keep calling as I want to ask about the highh crop aspect.

came from factory as a high crop, wide front end, also got live PTO, no power steering, original paint, his daddy bought it but then got a job with a local factory and ended up not using it that muich.

he said it was red with beige colors? I thought they were blue and white, but it is a 1955 so maybe they had them red at that time. starts and runs good. Your thoughts? he is firm on 3500
