Ford 5600 auxiliary service valves used for FEL.

Does any one have any experience or thoughts on whether it is possible to use the auxiliary service valves for a FEL? My 5600 is not outfitted with a 'load monitor' system. Based on the circuit diagrams it looks as if those outlets are connected to the 3ph lift controls but I'm not 100% certain. If that's the case I obviously wouldn't want to plumb the FEL into that.

I only have one set of remotes and need them. I'd prefer to not 'multiply' that remote for the FEL as it would mean hitting 2 valves each time I wanted to use it.

Any input would be great.

I think I just found the answer to my own question.

Doesn't look like this will work for a FEL or anything else as it's not a true remote since it's tied into the 3ph for semi-mount implement use.

Any other suggestions other than 'splitting' my remote for a FEL?

I had a similar problem with my Ford 4610. It came with one remote. I then added a FEL and it was set up using the remote and if IIRC I had to tie the valve handle in one position. The 3PH would not operate independently. The problem was solved when I added a hydraulic manifold under the remote valve handle. To the manifold I connected the FEL and the 3PH now operates independent of the FEL.

Not sure if this works for you. You will need to check with Ford or a tractor hydraulic person. If I can find the paper work I will post a model number so you can research. Also will post picture of my set up later.

You need one of these. If you want to keep your existing remote, then you need longer bolts and 2x the o-rings. Your loader control valve MUST have a power beyond outlet, which goes into this block. You will also need to run a return line from the loader valve to the fill hole of your hydraulic reservoir.

Here are a few pictures of what I did on my Ford 4610. This mod was done in the 1990's so not sure what may be available today. Nor if it works for your tractor. The hydraulic manifold is a Ford product PN-9613790. The manifold sits under the control valve. Pic 1 shows the connection for the remote. Pic 2 connection for FEL. Pic 3 shows bypass hose I connect to FEL quick disconnect when loader is removed from the tractor. This setup lets me work the FEL and 3 PH as needed. Hope this helps.

I know, tractor very dirty. Pressure cleaning is scheduled. Lol.
