Recently picked up a 555B that is in above average condition considering the age. Have been going thru it and fixing little things along with new fluids and filter everywhere. Problem I ran into is the tractor had set outside most of its life and water evidently got in the transmission. Looked like a vanilla milkshake in the tranny and rearend. Had them both draining for a couple days now but know that there is still considerable volume in the cooler/lines and torque convertor. Wondering what is the best way to get the emulisified internal mess cleaned up. I dont want to put new oil and filter on just to have them ruined too. Considering maybe putting in 5 gallons of 134D and 5 gallons of diesel and letting it run for a couple minutes, drain and see what it looks like. Wondering if some alcohol might also help. Anyone out there been in the same situation or anyone with an opinion is appreciated.
