I have been having trouble with the ignition in my 70's model Ford 555 TLB. I attempted to replace the switch, but between multiple pig tails of the same color, and my own haste, I botched the job.
Now I do not know the order that the wires were in. I traced them back to the harness and found the wire colors. My problem now is that I can't find a wiring diagram that matches the colors I have.
The wires coming out are:
Red
Yellow (possibly used to be white)
Brown
Brown with yellow line
Yellow with brown line (smaller gauge)
Bugged together Yellow and Yellow wot red line (both smaller gauge)
My Switch positions are
1. Battery feed and light switch connection
2. Accessory
3. Thermostat or ether start
4. Gauge, warning lamp, and ignition
5. Safety start switch and starter solenoid
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Travis
