I was lifting the front bucket and got a bad popping noise. I set the bucket down, now it seems the hydraulics arent working, back bucket wont go up, front bucket wont go up. I am making a wild guess that I have lost the drive from the engine to the pump? Where is the pump and how is it driven?
Any help is appreciated, I dont know anything about the innards of this backhoe.
Is there an exploded view on the internet?

Your pump is driven with a short driveshaft off the front pulley on the crankshaft . Take the grill off and you should see the pump in the front axle support.

If it is the pump drive, you shouldn't have to remove the hydraulic tank and radiator. You will have to drain the hyd tank, though. If you remove the pump, you should be able to get to the pump drive under the radiator. You might have to remove the pump mounting bracket if it is in the way. Here is a parts breakdown. Maybe it will help.
