- 1965 ford 5000 2000 new holland 1920 4wd, 1974 ford 5000, 1975 ford 9600, 1988 case Ih 885
I purchased a new instrument panel for a1965 ford 5000. The old one had one working item...the temperature gauge. The replacement panel is hooked up. Tach, background lights, generator light and oil pressure lights all work fine. Fuel gauge however, comes "on" when key is in the run position but only moves slightly up off of empty ( still in the red section of the gauge). The tank is full. Also, the temp gauge doesn't move at all, except sharply towards "cold" when you turn the key on. Never moves no matter how hot the tractor is. I have fiddled around with moving connections around on the back of the gauge but nothing I do changes the outcome. Again, the temp gauge wor ked on my old panel, so I am assuming the sender is fine. Fuel, don't know if sender is ok. Fuses are good.
I have a ehpn10849a cluster. I'm stumped.
