1965 Ford 5000 3 point will not lift or will lift a little but not with any weight on it. We put a new pump and changed all the little o-rings as well as the lift cylinder o ring and wiper on it. It worked for a little while, maybe a couple of weeks, then went un-responsive again. Any other obvious parts i should replace? The aux lines do not pressure up either. They act like they want to but never bog the engine down like it does when it works correctly. The Pto engages fine.
Thanks for any ideas.

Sounds like a restriction in the lines. Check any quick disconnects and the suction screen for blockage. When was the filter last replaced?

+1................ I don't remember if the '65 5000 had an external hyd filter or not. The 3000 and '63 2000 have filters but they are buried at the bottom of the hyd compartment and a PIA to replace unless you have things all apart anyway. I assume your flow valve on the right side just behind the heel of your foot when on the brake pedals (on the 3000) is still open adequately....maybe somebody tweaked it looking for the current problem...ccw is open.

After checking that, you might see if the system will work with the 3 point empty and the lever moved ever so slightly at a time...slowly with the engine at PTO rpms. If it works like that then you are probably looking for a cogged filter. There should be a pressure port on the pump....little ⅛" pipe plug with a hex socket where you can install a pressure gauge and check the pump's pressure....2000 or so # at PTO rpm, don't remember exactly....manuals in the shop and it's cold outside. Hyd supply have oiled filled 0-5k gauges for $25-35.

Thanks for the feedback fellas. We went ahead and took it apart again and yes you are correct Texasmark about the filter being inside the case on a 65. We flipped the lid over and used compressed air to hopefully lead us to something. We noticed what appeared to be some fluid bubbling out from under the piston where it attaches to the cover. The bolts(the ones that hold the piston assembly part to the cover) did not seem to be as tight as they should be. When we got it loose and removed the piston assembly out from the cover the problem was clear. One of the o-rings was shredded on one side allowing the hydraulic fluid to escape and not pressure up properly. 25 cent o-ring and some fluid. She's up and running!

Glad you got her fixed. If you are talking about the piston rings, one is an Oring for the seal and the second is a fiber, plastic, or leather backing washer to assist in preventing the pressure from blowing out or by the oring. Oring goes toward the pressure and backing on the reverse side. Looks like you got it installed properly.
