ford 5000 clucthe ajustment ?

Can some tell me how to adjust a clucth on a ford 5000>

Adjust the rod and clevis running between the clutch pedal and clutch housing cross shaft. Adjust so the pedal has 1-1/2" to 2" of 'free play'. That is the distance measured at the tread that the pedal moves before significant resistance is felt.
