Tractor
Ford 4610
I have a Ford 4610 4WD that I am trying to mount an old GB loader to. This tractor never had a loader so I want to make sure the mount points are sufficient. Are any of these ok for the mid mount on the loader?

What I would like to do is use the first upper mounting locations where the cab is mounted right now (first photo, large black bolts and plate) but I'm not sure if that is sufficent for the mid mount?

The rear mounts will go under the axle and i'll fab something up for the front cross bar as well once I see where it will sit.

Every loader manufacturer has it's own mounting system. I have an Ezee On 2070 loader that mounts in those bolt holes in the first picture and then mount in the front bolts in the front bolster. I suggest you ask Great Bend or their successor for info if they are out of biusiness. You could also google Great Bend with the loader model number.

Thanks Jerry. I built a bracket that spans both bolt sets in the first photo and will weld a bracket onto the loader arm to bolt up to it. Then Plan to use the front bolts as well once i see where it will contact the loader arms. Appreciate the feedback

Those three bolt holes in a triangle pattern are for radius rod mounts which your tractor fortunately does not have, disregard them for anything mounting a loader frame to.
They will be good for a toolbox mount, a bracket to hold you loader hydraulics or a place to mount a light otherwise they are of no use to you. They are on there because all the castings get them be it 2wd or 4wd, (I'm assuming yours is 4wd) and they just don't use them on yours.

Thanks all for the input. Got it mounted up and it hasn’t sheared off yet
