ford 420 backhoe

I have a 1978 ford 420 backhoe, so weak it will barely lift itself on to it stabs and will not lift a round roll of hay.

I think the previous owner swapped the hyd pump and i do not know the part number, GPM, or anything else about it, can anyone give me info on the pump?

so glad i found this site by the way, I have all kinds of tractors, crawlers andf equipment, thanks for the warm welcome.

It's going to be either the 19 gpm or 21 gpm gear type pump. Go here, call them if necessary. New Holland Parts Lookup Online Catalog

excellent!!, called them, they pulled my head out, got me in the right direction, and should have the parts I need, thanks for the pointer.
fyi, it as I thought the pump for the loader and backhoe is a stand alone and the part number is not in the 420 book. they had the right links/books for the add-ons. thanks again.
