I need to refill the transmission on a Ford 1210. Everything I can find with a Google search says to use 134 fluid. The manual shows that for the gear transmission but 41 for the hydrostatic. Why would the manual have 2 separate things is the same thing could be used in both? Screen shot of manual attached.

Well, 41 (as well as 46 and 53) was replaced by 134, I believe it is an error in the book. The New Holland oil is MultiGrade 134™ hydraulic transmission oil
