ford 4000 tractor with 723 backhoe

Looking for a swing post. Broke the pin out of the bottom of the swing post. They tell me you can not weld because it will not hold on this type of casting.

I can't comment on whether it can or can't be repaired but Messicks NH shows the swing post parts diagram (P/N 199528) but doesn't list a price. Might give them a call New Holland Parts | Buy Online & Save

 

[Tractor Tech]

Is there enough of the cast tower to bore out and install a sleeve/bushing? Tower won't be available, but maybe get lucky and find one in tractor junkyard. Not likely though
