Can anyone tell me where is the cheapest and best place to download the operators and service manuals for a Ford 4000? Thanks!!

i don't know of any place to download them.. however you can buy them at many places
which manuals you need will depend on which 4000 you have.. ie a 65-75 3 cyl, or a 63/64 4 cyl..
get an owners manual, service manual and parts manual.
for a 3 cyl machine the owners manual is a tad generic.. but you might as well get it. the ford shop manual is big.. pay a lil for it but worth it for sure. can also get an i7t manual for cheap for either the 3 or 4 cyl.. worth having it even if you have the shop manual. and i'd also for sure get the master parts catalog good exploded diagrams.. have a couple for my older 4 cyl machines nice to have.
ebay usually has parts manuals on cdrom for 9-15$ i&t service manual at places like tsc or farm stores. shop manual from NH.. etc.. owners manual from places that cater to older tractors.. websites with stores.. etc. try ytmag, n-news, jensales.. etc

The folks at this location have instant download manuals. I downloaded the whole repair manual for my New Holland LB75B TLB. They don't have every model's manuals, but they do have a bunch and their prices are amazingly low. Tradebit
