I am looking at a very nice 1979 Ford 4000 with only 1256 hours. I have had the earlier old style model and if this one is anything like it, it will be a great tractor.
Anyway, I am looking to see how whether a loader was available and how much it would cost when I came across Front-End Loaders by Westendorf: loader for tractor, shade canopy, wagons, manure & landscaping equipment. which is the website for westondorf. When trying to match my tractor, I am directed to select from one of 7 styles of frames. All I know is that this tractor has a straight front axle instead of the lighter duty swept back axles of the earlier models. How can I tell what frame I have?
Thanks
