Hello,
My tractor has an oil leakage in the entrance of the brake system in the rear axle, this oil comes from the PTO tank that is under the seat.
Has anyone already had this problem?
Thanks for the help

Pic? If you're talking about where the brake rod goes through the axle housing under the foot boards, it's a rubber cupped boot, fairly simple to change out.

Hello,

In the images you can see the oil tank i mention, with both entrances, and also where i see the oil leaking.

Just to confirm, and sorry for my ignorance, this oil tank serves both for the hydraulic system and also to lubricate the rear transmission gears?

thanks ;)

That is the seal I suspected. You have one on either side of the tractor. If you're doing one, you might as well do the other. You are correct the hydraulic fluid is for both the rear end and the hydraulic system. It holds around 12 gallons on your tractor. Drain it down some and then pull the seals to change. If you're reusing the hydraulic fluid, use a clean catch pail. No need to be sorry, it's how we all learn.

My doubt is.
What is assembly position of the seals?
I´ve tried to find it in the Repair Service Manual from Ford, but i was unable to.

By the way, if you want i can send the manual in pdf to you.

You should be able to see that when you disassemble it. Both the order in which the parts go and which side of the seal faces out.

Hello all,

This weekend i will start the repair of this oil leak, but i still have a doubt.

Is the seal you mention inside the rear axle or is this seal the one that can be seen in the picture above where the brake lever gets inside the rear axle.

Once again, thank you all for the help.
