On the Ford 3910 do you need to keep the clutch tied down when not in use??? On all of my other tractors over the years I had too. But on my 3910 there is not a way to do so. The manual does not say anything about it. I use the tractor about once a week. The longest it sets is about two weeks. On my Yanmar it has a clutch hold down bracket and I use it,,, but the Ford don't have one.

Thanks Frank

Frank I use to work for a FNH dealer years ago. I don't remember having any problem with them sitting for 2 weeks. The compacts yes. They use different clutch plate material.

I have let my 2910 sit for 2 months and not had a problem. I guess I could use a 2x4 wedged under the seat? but I never do it.
